Mixed comments about Sivaji.

After hearing full version of Shivaji Album ...No words to express the
feelings.
FANTASTIC WORK !!!!
A.R Proved his variety of Class.Rock and peppy with melody Mixed Songs
really came out of expectation.He is not the man repeating same kind of
music.Something trying new for each and every films.This is the one of the
different AND BEST OF AR.
Specially Oru Koodai Sunlight Song one of the different Music by A.R.In his
earlier album AR Produced lot of Rock Hits like Mukala Mukabula , Akada nu
nanga Uda potta, Lucky lucky , New New etc...But Oru Koodai song is one of
the all time great ROCK Music by AR. ..................................

I feel yesudas's son, like his father has a strong voice for sad
songs. The udit's version not as good.
Although there is a tinge of titanic flute music to this song, and
athiradi has elements of eminem, overall it came out well. I feel the
excellent guitar intro to athiradi could have been used throughout the
song, without the sananana part, anyway....Let's see how's the
soundtrack.
Another new thing is ARR trying to make intro like 80's song then
changing it along the way.....

After listening to the album couple of times , I think the album
roxxxx.. Specially Sahara/Sahana , Style , SPB intro song. superb!..

Many guys think that 'ballelaikka' is the intro song.... but I think that
it's not the intro song!
Intro song is: THE BOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
SOME LIKE AN INTRO FIGHT AND SOME LIKE INTRO SONG....SO WHY DISSAPPOINT BOTH
SECTIONS! Let's have a fight+song 2-in-1 as superstar intro! So the intro is
'THE BOSS'
AND 'ballelakka' is the probably the item number if at all there is
one...probably nayantara appears in this song... I don't think Mallika
Sherawat is in any song!
And athiradee, sahana, vaaji and style are all duets with shreya!
Athiradee is probably the 'first night' song....it's full of double
entendres....haha. Think this is the one that was shot in sets in Binny
mills.
Vaaji is probably the song that was shot at the beginning in hyderabad film
city.
Sahana is likely to be an outdoor song shot in exotic foreign locales.
Style, is ofcourse the one that was shot in Spain.
And there's also a political message.......In ballelakka song, it says'
Annan Vantha Tamilnadu America than' ..... ;)
SUPERSTAR rocks SHANKAR + ARR COMBO rock!!!! And so

We all must understand that thalaivar is no more a tamilnadu Star, he has
international Audience, So AR has rightly given a real international blend,
If someone from tamilnadu will enjoy "cauvery aarum," another from japan
will like "Style Style" , and there is a ARAB chorus gazal in "vaa ji
vaaji ",
"Sahana" is for melody lovers all over , the theme music "boss" and
athiradee thaan is for youngsters who like western beats ,
Like sachin who has tremendous pressure to score a century every time he
walks out , A R also have tremendous pressure to make it BIG!!.HE has
defenetly experimented and tried a new trend , lets all appreciate this
attmept.
Similarly SP had slightly tried a sub dued voice, and it is i guees to show
the youth character of sivaji i think , if you look at the photos thalaivar
sings with old hairstyle for cauvery song.
So unless we see it all in screen , lets not say anything in advance and
spoil the tempo.
SO AR has defently given a fantastic product....When you export mangoes you
pack them has unrippen and once it reaches the end users it will be fully
ripe ...Similarly all songs when it reaches the end user (Silver screen) it
will be a Ripe product!!!

rajini dada. waiting for the movie. please help me out by getting tickets in

Sorry to say that I am really dis-appointed. I felt that the music is bad
than Baba. (Baba - I feel personally not good film of Rajini sir.)
These stuff I listened in the internet. I checked with all my Tamil and
Telugu friends in San Francisco Bay Area, we all have the same feeling. The
hype created by everyone, atleast the media and this group, I thought the
songs will be good like Chandramukhi. IT IS NOT.
For those in Bay Area, can remember that for Baba movie, we distributed
T-shirts, freebies, sweets, got their early and cheered the crowd @
sunnyvale IMC6. We did sweets and flowers for Padayappa too.
We are still planning the same for the SIVAJI, but wondering about the music
credits.
Is it me or someone else in the group feel the same?

I also feel bad music composed by AR in "Sivaji".When compare to Muthu
and Baba , Sivaji music is Bad.

I have read few postings which is totally against the Musical Genius ARR and
calling him as the Villain of Sivaji. I guess such criticism are coming from
people who are still in the olden age and expect the same stereotype songs
in our SS films. Let the audio sales and popularity of the songs erase these
bad and premature criticisms...
But I admit that when I first listened to the songs, I felt the same which
most of our SS fans thought, that the songs are not going to suit our SS as
they are totally different from our earlier SS songs. But after
several listenings, really the music rocks and totally different in the
current trend. We all know that Shankar is good in song picturization and
also with our SS in the big screen, the songs are really going to be a big
hit even in the rural areas.
As the songs are already been reviewed by many other members, I don't want
to review them again. But I just want to give a glimpse on my favorites of
the album.
