hey rahmaniacs! i am a hardcore fan of A.R.Rahman. I listen only to ARR's music and got a huge collection of our master. but that doesn't mean i always clap and say all songs are best. there was a song which sounded something like bailamore in kaadhal virus (sung by silambarasan) which i could not believe my ears that it was from rahman. only thotapuram and innisai sounded like ARR songs. others were very ordinary (ARR's average level mite be something very high level for other music directors).
Finally, coming to Sivaji, i heard couple of songs from sivaji on FM ....... wahji wahji and one song sung by the master himself. both did not sound anywhere near ARR's best. I hope other songs are upto ARR std. there is no doubt that sivaji will become a hit. but it should be equally by ARR as with Rajni and shankar. one more thing is that there are so many ARR songs which dint sound very spl hearing for first few times. but as i started hearing them again and again,then i realised the genius behind the songs. hope sivaji songs are also like that.
