donno whether i ve right to express this. but only for a positive debate &
not to criticise anybody. when he points rahman specifically v can also point
out the facts behind it. bit lengthy & unable to cut short as is all abt short
cuts.

i m not surprised to TOI article where MDs, technology & young singers r
targetted as
whole? why ? simply becoz of old MDs & old singers do not get more offers
nowadays. Every aspect is aging in life & is boring & monotonous too to have
same old things. Fresh approach is needed & change only can bring that.

in specific abhijeet sahab's open attitude towards rahman. i wud like to say
why he shld point rahman. Even before rahman...., were there not MDs in
bollywood who are struggling hard for success & have not they used short cuts
in approach. leave rahman sir. why abhijeet sir could not be successful now
even under his own bollywood MDs ? what is between them & to say politics r in
every field in whole of india.

whether like it or not one has to accept newer trends & handling methods that
does not harm others physically. Infact Rahman is one who showed how to use
singers & not politicised for his previous experiences working as assistant to
other MDs. He knows well how politics play in the role of techinicians. In the
learning stage.., he too may be a victim of politics in music field. He is the
one who broke this trend to call in new singers simply because of..... he is
confident in his works & no need to depend on singers. Only MDs who r not
confident abt their tunes need to use popular singers again & again to show
their existence.

i m sorry to say but to quote politics...., how can those senior singers
establish themselves or now v quote them as established singers (a good joke)
only of politics. A decade ago, the situation is only 4 or 5 singers are
talented to be in recurrence in this billion populated country. Is that true to
heart. No. it is not so. In india one can bet an approx. of 50 singers in every
region will be the best talented & another 50 singers in every region could
fairly peform to improve over a period of time. politics made so-called senior
singers to establish for more than 25 years thereby not paving way for new
talents with hopes & dreams. I can produce a list of singers & MDs related to
such circumstances in the past in both north & south but is not good to present
as most of us know such facts.

when technology over-powered man-power it is as that simple to use it
intelligently & they must use it instead of wasting more time & money. nothing
wrong. naturally dir. or prod. prefer MDs who work smartly with sounds &
singers. i m again sorry to say and can feel very well in disappointment of
abhijeet sahab & such other old senior singers who could not be regular in
picture nowadays just becoz of their own favorite MDs are not in picture. every
game has a end to it. and politics in music is to end this way to identify more
new talents.

In my opinion need of hour we all forced to sail to newer atmosphere &
trends to accustom to it despite being hard & learn its tricks. technology
helps us with shorter time to finish & move on to next job. Everyone is to
retire some day. it just depends how long it takes upon hard work & talents
without politics. But not to leave luck (b it goodluck or badluck) constitutes
through pple around you who make you zero to hero or hero to zero.

IF ONE DEPEND ON POLITICS TO BECOME BIG SHLD BE PREPARED TO ACCEPT FAILURES
TOO. OTHERWISE DISAPPOINTMENT WILL NOT SOUND BIG TO THEM TO LEAD OTHER WAYS OF
LIFE EASILY. there is no point in blaming others. to conclude in lighter note,
in chennai buses as a trial run, conductors have started using new electronic
gadget of ticket printers in the size of a calculator & in same form with a
strap to hang around.

I don't think there is a dig. He has given his opinion that Rahman
brought in untrained singers, who's mistakes were corrected with
technology. But whatever Rahman does has caught on like virus to
other music directors...let alone that others are not as dedicated or
creative as Rahman. Singers and music directors think only of money.
Very few are entirely in love with music such that they would dedicate
time for it exclusively. It's become an industry of glamour, fame and
money.
