  that sound more like questioning.

anyway,

I think Unity of light concert was a charity concert, and one that was
held in Chennai for raising money for cancer patients.

then, there was tsunami concert.

the profit from Pray for me Brother DVD and CDs, are going to UN's Poverty
eradication programme. and the AR Rahman foundation is set up for that
purpose.

He is also the UN ambassador for eradicating TB.

now, tell me what he has not done for charity and good cause. :)

Hi Guys,
One of my friends has asked this Qn.
Though I know that he has plans to start his own foundation, I'm not
exactly sure of the idea.
1)Can someone elaborate on the foundation Please. I tried searching
the internet..but didnt get much out of it.
2) Also please tell me about the List of Concerts which he has
conducted where part of the profits have gone for some good cause.

Thanks.

"If a music artist wants to blossom into a full-pledged person, it's not
enough if he knows only classical music; nor is it enough if he's
well-versed only in ragas and techniques. Instead, he should be a
knowledgeable person interested in life and philosophy. In his personal life
there should be, at least in some corner of his heart, a tinge of lingering
sorrow."
