Oh ya Kaissiom, Rahman started this trend with Meenaxi's 'Chinnamma chilakamma'. Actually, it's a sound of 70's (radio & old casette player sound) and he used it to give a retro feel to all these songs. :-) Also it is used through out the song in 'Ay hairaten'
