Hi, Actually every good composer or player has their own style and signatures. If you listen to james Horner's composition there is uniqueness, same to Ilyaraja or Salil Chowdhury or SDBurman...u hear them and u can tell who composed the song.
If you listen carefully u can also identify Naveen's flute in other MD's composition (eg SEL). That is signature Naveen has in his playing. A single chord of guiter can tell you there is Sanata behind the speakers. Rahman also has this great ability to to create signature in his tune...its not arrangements not other things....when u listen to a song like Rasathi (from Thiruda thiruda) without arrangements u can identify rahman behind it...its the signature tune.
