Hi, I am from Toronto, Canada. I have always been interested in promoting music (which is my life) to South Asians. And of course, when we speak of music, the God of music would be the great A.R.Rahman.
In order to achieve this goal, I have started an organization with my friends. Its called YUVA! It stands for Young Urban Vibrant Active. We are having the first event on June 15, which will include Antakshari, Karaoke, a version of Kaun banega crorepati and JAM (Just a minute). This event is named - ROOBAROO! As you might have guessed by now both the organization and the event names are a tribute to A.R.Rahman. For those of you in Toronto, please check out this event. Come and sing Rahman songs either in Antakshari or Karaoke (I do have quite a lot of Rahman karaokes).
