'Sivaji' release on May 26 - 09.05.2007 This is not a confirmed statement but sources in AVM gossip that May 26 could well be the release date for 'Sivaji.' Though Shankar and AVM wanted a Tamil New Year release, pending work on graphics and background music has delayed the release date to May end. May 17 was a probable date since Shankar's lucky number is 8. But AR Rehman is taking time to organize the background score for the fight scenes, so May 17 is out of the question. The graphics in the climax fight scenes are also not complete. As Shankar has said last week, graphics could take 2 days or 2 weeks. But May 26 could well be THE date as that also adds to 8. 'Sivaji' will be dubbed in Telugu also and released at the same time. So dubbing work is also going on at a brisk pace.
