I totally agree with you guys. This forum is about ARR and should remain that way. Though i appreciate satya, I agree with the notion that this is not a proper forum to project any other individual other than ARR.
We do not intend to hurt anyone, however we a strong group of >10k, it is pretty important to maintain the context of our work around ARR and his work and anything else is beyond the scope of this forum. We can gladly start another forum which will be a ground for upcoming artists and showcase their work. As long as you have ARR compositions to share, its fine for me. But I sense that your messages are trying more to promote yourself. (This is purely a personal view). I know its really tough to draw a line between Fan's enthusiasm and self promotion. So I ask Gopal and others - should we allow musicians to promote themselves on this forum? (After all music is what we are here for, and ARR himself wants to promote budding and new talents) On an opposing note - won't letting non-ARR related stuff and music to be promoted dilute the forum in the long run? Just my thoughts and no offense meant to anybody. And I stand with the view that this forum should be ARR and ARR only, as with the convergence of technologies, and umpteen number of talent hunts and shows, artists have so many other channels to promote themselves.
