Oh My God! This has been a 15-year dream come true. Yes, I met the GOD. I was there at the DC concert on the first row, and made a mental note of our man's mannerisms, etc., and managed to get a few "shouts" across to ARR!!!! But, that wasn't good enough for me.
I was at the airport this morning, and ran into the one and only!! Yes, yes, it happened. It took 15 years but it happened eventually. ARR was waiting in the first-class check-in counter, and I freaked out seeing him. The first thing I did was the obvious - I prostrated! ARR was calm and composed, and just waited for me to get up! And then, I blurted out 50,000 things to him and he asked a few questions like - "Where are you from?", "Where are you headed?", etc. Shook hands with him, and returned a happy (and that's an understatement) man home!! Also, met Sivamani outside the airport. Ma'n - how are these guys so humble after achieving so much?!! Unbelievable. -- krish
