The slight resemblance is because:
Bolna Halke song is in Abheri (Bheempalasi in Hindhustani)
Azhagana Rakshasi is in ReethiGowla
and, observe the mathematics in these two raagas.
Abheri--> it is a Janya raaga of Karaharapriya
Aa: S G2 M1 P N2 S
Av: S N2 D2 P M1 G2 R2 S
ReethiGowla--> it is also a Janya raaga of Karaharapriya
Aa: S G2 R2 G2 M1 N2 D2 M1 N2 N2 S
Av: S N2 D2 M1 G2 M1 P M1 G2 R2 S
The Aarohanam, all the notes of Abheri, except 'Pa' are borrowed from
reethiGowla.
In Avarohanam, all the notes of Abheri are indeed from reethiGowla..
Also, Shankar-Ehsan-Loy gave a Reethigowla-ish feel to the ending of 1st
interlude..The treatment given is somewhat similar..thats all..still..SEL have
done a nice job.

Slightly yes. in the first interlude. but i think only ARR fans can
feel this. But then again we always find these slight resemblences
everywhere.
I prefer not to take any credit away from SEL.
