'Ghoomparani' is a traditional lullaby. I heard that every Bengali child
listens to it during their childhood days! (Like Oomana Thingal in
Kuluvalile song from Muthu - to Malayalees.) Only few lines of it are used
in the song. So we hardly can call it a 'Bangla song'.

beginning of each verse ("Shondhya" and "Boishaki") to match the
character of Rani Mukherji who is Bengali in the film.. :) and is
partially based on Bengali "Baul sangeet" (folk) especially in the
