Hi all, I just wanted to share you the news that I, along with few of my friends met Sivamani & Sriram Parthasarathy! We met them in a private entry-by-invitation function happened at Bangalore , yesterday. Sivamani mesmerized the crowd for one hour with his you-know-what ;). He pointed out a (bong?) drum designed by a company called ‘Remo’ and announced that he was the first Indian to use it. He pointed out that he used it at an ARR Concert in North America , recently. He thanked Mr. Abe Thomas for taking efforts to deliver him that supreme quality drum! When we had a private chat, he was recollecting the rain affected ARR concert held on October 8, 2005!! Sriram Parthasarathy (Singer of ‘Adhisaya Thirumanam’ in Paarthalae Paravasam, ‘Chittukuruvi Aruviya’ in Parasuram, etc…) was very jovial and we had a very good discussion with him. The major scoop from the chat with him is that he had recently recorded a very nice duet song for Azhagiya Tamil Magan. He was not sure of the female voice, which will feature in the final version… ~ P
