The film is directed by Kalaprabhu S Dhanu. The film is produced by his father Kalaipuli S Dhanu. It stars Shantanu Bhagyaraj, son of Bhagyaraj, Vedhika and Ishita. A R Rahman scores the music for the film. Expectations were high on Shanthanu even before he commenced the shooting for the movie. Since his father K Bhagyaraj is an acclaimed actor-director, people would naturally expect Shanthanu to hit the target right way. Shanthanu says, "Of course I have pressure and I have to live up the expectations of the masses. When I acted with my father as a child artiste in Vettiya Madichu Kattu, I learnt the nuances of acting. I watched my dad very close in the sets. Later when he directed Parijatham, I was almost like an assistant director to him, helping in completing the film". "I am fortunate to work with a set of highly-skilled technicians in my debut venture itself. Though I am happy, it creates some tension in me for I have to give my best in the movie". Kalaprabhu grew up watching Dhanu from very close quarters.
