This is especially to Rahman fans from HINDI land, they must go through all of RAHMAN's TAMIL compositions. I think each and every of it is Brilliant. I can't name one song, but I think, he has to his credit some outstanding movie albums in TAMIL, which, in toto are brilliant, I will name them below with apologies to my spelling.
And I am trying to keep these to ONLY TAMIL releases ( that is there is no Tamil > Hindi or Hindi > Tamil dubbing ) 1. Kandukondain Kandukondain 2. ESK 3. Boys 4. Parthale Parvasam 5. Kannathil Muthalmittal 6. Puthiya Mugham 7. Rhythm ( yes, 2 songs were used in Tehzeeb recently ) My top favorite is Vellai Pookkal from Kannathil Muthalmittal. Rahman at his best.................. Melancholy / a touch of sadness to the song and RAHMAN is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good !
