all dat ok....... but musicindiaonline reports as sonu d 1st indian singer 2
perform in germany... i blieve mio has not reported anything so far on
own....... but this evidencing many such reports by other press..... i hope he
is not d 1st bcuz rehman performed in munich in 1999, if i m right.... wit mj,
vanessmae etc... 4 charity concert. & i m unaware of any other indian performed
bfore rehman...... to dat xtent i feel rehman is d one to step 1st in both
germany & hollywood bowl.......

I got free tickets for Sonu Nigam's concert this past Saturday and
thought the arrahmanfans group might be interested in some ARR related
news from the concert.
The concert started with a cover version of Roobaroo from Rang De
Basanti. The cover was performed by the accompanying musicians and not
by Sonu. This version was not bad but was let down by the lead vocalist.
Sonu Nigam performed two of Rahman's compositions - Saathiya from
Saathiya and Satrangi Re. Both the performances were impeccable
singing wise. Before starting Satrangi Re, Sonu mentioned that in
spite of singing a huge number of songs in career, that this song
remains a favourite. Once the song was completed, Sonu Nigam received
a standing ovation from a few and chants of Sonu, Sonu from the crowd.
