Hello all I met ARR..yes i did meet him today at DC show.. my dream day! I could not believe yet.. He came to the cinemaya indian american awards function happened few hrs back at kennedy arts center DC. He performed jana gana mana at the beginning on his piano.. only for 2 mins. He stepped on to the stage, janaganamana and left the stage immediately. The show followed by the performances of Kathak exponant Birju Maharaj, Pt Shiv Kumar Sarma on Santoor, Dr. Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna, Ajoy Chakravarthy. Another thing is.. ARR did WIN the indian american achiever's award in arts section. I somehow managed to meet him at the end of the concert, Got an autograph and 2 pictures tooo... yeah.. and then some footage on video. I still cannot believe that this all has happened. Me standing next to ARRahman.. gosh.. unbelievable.. Will upload the videos and pics soon!
