Oh my god..The height of criticism cant go any higher! Common guys.. ATM is amazing.. If they say Rahman touch is missing I wud they donno wat is Rahman touch.. I can clearly feel rahman touch in every song..
EX: Consider Valayapatti song supposed to be a simple folk song Look at the unusal twists and turns .. even the way the song takes off at 0.30 is so different..And the interlude at 1:50 and the the way song chges at 2:40 and the carnatic humming after 'Nan Thiruvayaru Kacheri' A simple tune with so many variations..amazing..I donno whether any other folk song has been composed with so much variations. Still u guys say that there is no rahman touch.. If this not rahman touch then tell me who's touch is this? If u feel its a YSR album I dont think any of the YSR folk song has so many variations.. Other songs also have pure rahman touch.. Ellapugazum,Marlyn monroe are needless to say - written Rahman all over the place.. Rest of the songs too have the proper rahman touch..I just dont want to get into details right now.. I personally felt ATM is beautiful commercial album after long time from Boss.. It has a been quiet a while since he gave a Mass album.. I always felt he shd compose one mass album and one class album alternatively so that general audience(mass) are satisfied and class audience ( like us) are also happy..But Boss knows the best.. If he does a class album u say it is too much experimentation If it is mass u say no rahman touch..huh! cant help it.. If someone calls ATM YSR album then there is only one person who is happy abt that comment..YSR himself..I guess thats the greatest compliment he can get :) Friends, People keep criticising..these people criticised Sachin even after scoring tons of runs..there are people who crticise Mahatma Gandhi..Legends at the highest level are bound to get stupid criticism.. We have take it with our very own boss's philosphy 'Ella pugazhum iraivanuke' or 'All perfect praise belongs to God alone' Regards, S.V.Nagaraj --- In [email protected], "godi_smile1" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > honestly it sounds like a yuvan shankar raja album, this si only > my initial thought. > > iam a bit upset because i thought when i heard sok - > vetaiadu vellaiyadu, shivaji - unanalle unnalle, now bheema and ATM. i > sadly but honestly think harris has the better say. this is only > listneng to albums initially, good cinematography may work out here > too. >
