yes rightly said, only rahman can produce classical songs that have devinity in them and that can touch the soul. He has produced a lot in hindi films like lagaan, water etc but it would be great if he do it in tamil. Regards

Rahman has a strong foundation in Carnatic music and together with his expertise in Western classical and rhythm, I guess, he is definitely planning something which pleases the critics.
