Sonam Bags Role in Dilli 6

then the Saawariya girl Sonam Kapoor has been signed by Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra
for his film Dilli 6. The director has been in the news lately for having
changed the male lead of his film seven times.
If the director sticks by his current choice of male leads, then Sonam will be
cast opposite Abhishek Bachchan. Sonam has been heard saying that she has a
mindblowing offer. Mehra was earlier very keen to cast Kareena Kapoor and Soha
Ali Khan for the role. But the moment he signed Abhishek, he dropped the idea
of casting Kareena. After the Saawariya trailers hit the small screen, Sonam
bagged the role. She is very excited at the prospect of working with Mehra and
Abhishek. The film is believed to go on the floors by the second week of
December in Delhi. Mehra has been having a tough time trying to finalise the
cast of Dilli 6. He has changed the male lead seven times already. The actors
considered for the film include current choice Abhishek, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay
Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Siddharth, Imran Khan and even a newcomer. But the search
started with Abhishek and seems to have ended there as well.
