These days i'm more pulled into listening to the old classical songs of
ARR(even more than his latest).. Especially over the last few days
Veerapandi Kotayilae has been driving me crazy.. Man.. How did he
manage such an advanced orchestration in tht period when there was very
less influence of the west here.. The way he mixes n blends the cello,
double bass, viola, flute, various drums and the abstract intruments is
just out of the world.. I've listened to it many a times but its only
over the past week tht i started analysing the divine sounds contained
in ARR's songs..
Another song tht i wanna mention is Malargalae from Love Birds..
There's this abstract sound tht comes in the song(almost throughout)
like the chinese bells.. U have to listen very carefully.. Its clear in
the beginning and wen the instrumentation is low.. How does he do such
simple things with such perfection.. These r wat tht make ARR wat he
is, A Perfect Musician.. Truly living up to the name bestowed upon him,
THE MOZART OF ASIA..
