Rahmaniacs, Singer Feji , a Christian by birth has been married to a Hindu Dancer. she started singing at the age of 7. she even started recording songs right from that age . She started singing for Music Director Deva. She has sung songs for ARR, along with her sister . Her sister married Music Director Srikanth deva ( son of Deva ) . She has sung " Strawberry Kanne" from Minsara Kanavu. Feji's father was a sole violinist, and had no fear of singing in a mike , right from childhood.
Her first solo song was in Malayalam. She has also sung for Vidyasagar for " Ali Baba and 40 thieves ( Telugu Comedy Film ) ". *ARR Song :-* Kumaripulla Kumaripulla ( From Tajmahal ) :- She sang a solo bit. Even Raihana has sung with Feji in that song. *ARR Solos :-* ( either group songs ) :- Kizhakke Nandavanm ( Tajmahal ) , Rathirin Sondakkara ( Paarthala Parvasam), Azhaginna Azhahi ( Enakku 20 Unakku 18 ) *future releases :-* Naan Kadavul ( For Ilayaraja) and some jingles. Feji would be happy singing Backup vocals , because there would be a mix of Western, classical, Rap et etc . There should be good co-ordination for singing Backup vocals. Even solo singing is easy but back up needs good syncronisation, and correct Shruti. Feji has enjoyed singing backup vocals for Nenjinile ( Uyire ). Once I was called at 3 PM. ARR used to give the song in advance, and gives us time for practicising it. During recording of Tajmahal Song, ARR was supposed to catch a flight the same evening . So, all were in a hurry, and he suddenly told TAKE. So, he told everybody to just sing, whatever they practised. . ARR finished the Take so soon. *FAVOURITTE SONGS OF ARR :-* Nenje Nenje ( Ratchagan ) , Vellai Pookal ( Kannathil Muthamittal ) , vidukadaya ( Muthu ) , Sakthi Kodu ( BABA ) , Kaalyil Dhinamum ( New ) and the list goes on and on *LESSONS FROM ARR* :- I learnt the dynamics. Where to soften the lyrics and where to harden it . *FAVOURITE POP SINGERS :-* Shakira, Enrique, Mariah Carey and so on .
