The function was attended by dignitaries, celebrities and other prominent personalities. Here's a roundup of the winners in various categories. The one and only boss Rajnikath was named NDTV'S Entertainer of the Year Vishwanathan Anand was named NDTV's Sportsman of the Year. *A R Rehman, who continues to give one musical hit after the other was given NDTV's Music Award. * The unsung hero, the Indian Soldier, an award that was accepted jointly by the three Chiefs. Global Indian award went to Dr R K Pachauri The big award- Leader of the Year Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accepted the award. Speaking at the awards function, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, said that if the Indo-US nuke deal with the United States doesn't work out, his government will be prepared for anything.
