Rahman's Marhaba Mustapha is perhaps the only highlight of al Risalah's
soundtrack. Rahman delineates his track from the other routine, devotional
tracks in the soundtrack by beautifully blending the mod musical elements we
expect from him. This is considerably more devout than his other filmy,
devotional songs like Piya haji ali or even Khwaja mere khwaja. It is more
resonant, and going by Rahman's vocals, from the heart. The other composers
– Raj Verma and Liyakat Ajmeri - struggle with archaic, radio-styled
compositions while Rahman delivers a knock-out single worthy of the
prominent 'Song by A.R.Rahman' tag below the film's title!
