Hi Dinesh, I just want to share something that i felt i should share with you and many others. I used to get hurt whenever i saw so much of hard work of someone (To be honest A R Rahman in particular) getting wasted and ignored by others. I used to be angry at them.
But now i have found a unique way (And it really helps me saving my blood from burning), I just laugh at them. I went to see JA with a friend who likes ARR too (Just a beginner). I told him ARR's song are hard to like in first hearing and i usually see people going to toilets when a song comes in a movie having Rahman's music. Now when the movie had its first song 'Man Mohana', many people started going away from their seats. Me and my friend looked at each other and we laughed heavily. (I am sure many of you will laugh next time when you see the same thing in cinema). But hats off to Ashutosh Gowarikar. When this song was played second time, no one even moved from their position because of the situation created. But opposite is true as well. The song 'In lamhon ke daman main' was getting heavy on people and scene was looking streched a bit. And then suddenly the lines 'Kaisa yeh khwab hai' came with high volume and all activities of audience stopped. It looked like someone push them back to their seats. That's the magic of Rahman. The background score saved movie from getting bored at many times. Well, looks like Ashutosh and ARR know each other very well now.
