Thursday, February 21, 2008: (Mumbai):

If the trade mills are to be believed, then, UTV has repeated Ashutosh
Gowarikar for their next project.

Siddharth Roy Kapoor, EVP-Marketing Distribution, Syndication, UTV
Motion Pictures said, "We are very, very upbeat about the sustained
performance of the movie. We are all very proud and happy about such a
positive reaction from our audiences, both in India as well as around
the world."

When asked about the initial apprehensions and the risk factors
involved in making a historical saga, Kapoor said, "Obviously, you do
consider many aspects very carefully in any movie that you commit to
making. But in this case, we knew the capabilities of Ashutosh as a
director. We also knew that if there was anyone who can translate the
vision of Jodhaa Akbar onto screen, then, it's him. We were very
confident about that."

Lastly, on UTV's next with Ashutosh, he said, "I would rather wait
till we make a formal announcement about this together, which will
happen in the next few weeks."
