I'd not call it as bad luck for others. It sounds as if every other person in this world is dump / incapable. Then why there are Maniratnam / Latha / SPB? There are many people who are as passionate as ARR in their respective field and work hard as ARR does.
I sincerly wish he were part of the team. Trailer shows it all and there's no doubt about Kamal's talent, passion and energy. Whether the movie succeeds or not - the team has worked really hard and they were very sincere. However, I'd not use such words (shame) to describe the missed opportunity.. ARR must have valid reasons for not accepting this project... It might be a loss for ARR (as well as fans like us) too, sometimes for not accepting an offer. But as you said correctly, he knows what works out for him... Anyways, they are going to work together again in Marmayogi. Let's hope that Marmayogi is as grand as Dhasavadharam...
