Aamir awaiting a hat-trick

Aamir Khan is recuperating but continues to shoot for his forthcoming
film Ghajjini . According to Aamir he cant afford to take off as apart from
Ghajjini, the third film of his Aamir Khan Productions Jane Tu Ya Jane Na is
all set to release soon. Being a producer of this film Aamirs attention is on
the promotions of his next which also marks his nephew, Imraan Khans debut.
But theres something more special than this. Aamir informs that he managed to
lure his cousin Mansoor Khan out of his hiding place. He says I took over as
director of TZP but I needed a hands-on producer on JT so I requested Mansoor.
To his credit despite his reluctance he did not hesitate to step in.
He gives credit to Nasir Hussain. He says, I would like to think it was
because of me but I suspect it was because of Nasir Sahab. Both Mansoor and I
know that Nasir Sahab would have wanted the two of us to stand by Imraan at
this important juncture in his career. So Mansoor makes a return, albeit as
producer.
Now when the film is complete Aamir is all set to promote it. He is all excited
to launch his nephew. I am readying my self for my next release. Jaane Tu
...When I say my I mean Aamir Khan Productions. After Lagaan and Taare
Zameen Par this will be our third release and I am keen to complete a
hat-trick.
He informs that he has completed the test screenings by the end of March.
Rahman has finished the background score. The first promo is on air. It will be
up on the website as well on the official film website.
Apart from being its producer. what makes this film special to him? He reasons
This will be the first film of my nephew Imraan. Jaane Tu... is the debut not
only of Imraan but also of Abbas Tyrewala who has written and directed the
film. Abbas who is an established writer having written films like Munna Bhai
MBBS, Maqbool , and Main Hoon Na among others has done a great job as a
director.
Aamir has seen the film and has loved Mansoors work too. He says, I saw the
completed film, it was an excellent translation onto screen of the script,
which for me is the most important yardstick for any filmmaker. He signs off.
