Tuesday, April 29, 2008: (Mumbai) :
If you hummed along with the tracks of *Jodhaa Akbar*, this is the man you
have to thank.

But this time around A R Rahman is not talking films. The music composer
surfaced in Mumbai for a different reason and a different film this time.

It's a one in a million chance for would be musicians. A R Rahman is on the
hunt for a new talent. But hold on before we get down to that exciting
initiative.

"I'll have to remove my shoes to sing Khwaja", says the singer. And he
removes his shoes and hums the song.

Rahman who launched his music school in Chennai has always embraced young
talent and is now as enthusiastic in his search for fresh sounds to remix
tracks for his next film.

*NDTV*: Why remix them?

*Rahman*: I am looking for fresh talent and it is the first of its kind
experiment I am doing, I hope it works.

It should and harmoniously too but apart from the talent tour, whats really
got him excited are his compositions for animation flick *Sultan* with
superstar Rajnikanth.

*NDTV*: Does Rajni give you tips for the film?
*Rahman*: Not him, but yes his daughter Soundarya does and this is one film
I am really excited about

And if you thought its all work and no play for the maestro, he does have
some serious holiday plans too. " My kids have not yet seen my London house,
but I am really hoping to show them around this summer," says the musician.
