ADA review posted by Mr. Remaiz in orkut.. ADA-my persona full fledged review.... Ada... as the tagline of the movie "a musical journey bu A.R rahman " suggests the actual style of mood of music of this album.....as our boss retains a particular trend of music for a particular period....and we all know the movie was started 7 years back... In this particular album the music has travelled thro numerous number of trends created by our boss over the period of time....... To say the trend created from alaipayuthe, kannathil muthamittal to sivaji..... As each and every song reminds me of a different trend of music created by our boss over these 7 years of time.......
Ishq ada hai - gives a mood of, you sitting in the pubs of london, sipping a glass of beer in 1950's.....a seductive song which ull get addicted for sure during the first hearing itself.....travels thro the dark emotions.....rasheed ali voice rendition is something exemplary....not everyne could give voice rendition for this..... Hawa sun hawa- a typical romantic melody for bollywood, sonu nigam and alka yagnik tht say it all....the flute interludes inbetween acts as a catalyst for this song to get inside the listners easily.... gumsum-guess the director got the appointment from arr ,the same day wen sivaji music composition was goin on for the song vaaji vaaji, thisreminds me of the vaaji vaaji totally,be it the voice renditions or the orchestration or the mixing and mastering part of the song...... hope you guys will feel the same......but still totally rahmanish..... gulfisha- This song is one of the happy renditions of the album.....with silky voice of sunidhi chanuhan makes it more more exhilarating ....... meherbaan-wen i was looking at the backside of the cd cover, and found the singer is none other than our boss , made myself accustomed before this song starts thinkin of vellai pookal and to my surprise it made me really delighted as the song starts on the notes of vellai pookal with a solo piano rendition followed by a blossoming brezzing voice of our boss...reminds me of a robert frost poem "walking by the lonely woods on a snowy evening"... and the whole of the song travels in the same mood....... tu mera hai -chitra nd sukwindher singh with slight interludes of naresh iyyer makes the song very relishing.... hai dard- may be this song is composed keep the visuals of the song in mind...well a non rahmaniac would definitely term this song as "boring"....not so special... ishq ada(female version) Composed a lil diff in terms of style from the original, but the yes the female singer has made it different in her own style..... milo wahan yahaan- For people those who really wished that kannathil muttamital should have some more songs on the audio cd.... heres the song..the lilting strings and, more specifically the voice rendition of jeyachandran took me to kannathil muthamittal days...the song is simply outstanding...a soul soothing number from our boss... merhabaan(instrumental)-Here the guitar garnishes the piano rendition of the tune... a kinda good way to ensd the album..... ON the whole the music literally plays with the emotions, inspite of having a small unsatisfied feeling with every rahmaniac as thers not one peppy rendition from the boss to shake the body...but still the music of ada gives a whole some meal for the heart....... http://www.orkut.com/CommMsgs.aspx?cmm=16502&tid=5202231029379758290&start=1
