latest interview and echoing my exact thoughts that
I have held for years. In a world of chaos, struggle, loss,
heart-ache, destruction, cruelty, corruption, and greed, music is such
a balm. And when it comes to deep, thoughtful music like ARR's, there
is nothing out there that surpasses such music to help us feel more
hopeful about the goodness of humanity and the harmony in nature. We
so often lose touch with the natural rhythms of the universe. I think
good, deep, thoughtful, and soulful music helps us to realign our
minds and bodies to the natural harmonics that surround us. Whenever
I hear touching music full of harmony and peace, it reorients my mind
to what is truly beautiful about existence and shows a glimpse of our
potential as human beings to live in a better world. ARR's music has
always symbolized so many important things for me......sharing,
valuing differences, tolerance and respect for other cultures,
individual expression, the freedom to create without artificial
bounds, the divinity within all of life, all of creation, the bonds
 among us, and pure love.

Life can be so painful. Music is such a blessing. Thank God for
beautiful music to help us feel more hopeful about our potential and
reminding us of the permanence within us and around us despite change
 and destruction and death.

"I feel that I'm representing my father's aspirations, his unfulfilled life in
all that I attempt. I'm inspired by him. I did not have him for a long time in
my life. But I remember the way he used to treat his musicians, the way he
respected them and of course I remember his music."
