However, Gowariker has surprised all by also announcing the film that he will start immediately post wrapping up work on What's Your Raashee? After a 3 year gap between Lagaan and Swades, and a 4 year gap between Swades and Jodhaa Akbar, Gowariker is truly on a roll and is looking to ensure no time is wasted between future releases. May 2009, he will begin filming Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey which is based on Manini Chatterji's novel Do and Die. And of course unlike most of our makers, Gowariker has officially purchased the rights of the book which is based on the 1930 Chittagong Uprising. While What's Your Rashee?, which will be going on floors towards the end of this year ,is a romantic comedy starring Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra, the cast of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is yet to be announced, but it looks like Gowariker can't stay away from research intensive films for long. We are sure all his fans are elated by this news and hopefully now we can look forward to a film a year of different genres, from the very talented director.
