All ARR interviews (of late) have had the same kind of questions & AR has no different choice to answer. We also have lot of interviews of ARR recently appearing in TV/magazines etc. Infact, about 10 years ago, we would be waiting for ARR to appear in a TV channel or any other interview. I feel that charm of waiting for ARR interviews and listening to what all he says is lost now. (We can also see him looking tired answering to some of the questions) An example is the latest NDTV Good times interview and the Channel V interview, where ARR didn't have any new questions to answer and all the questions which the interviewer asked to ARR, any one of us could have answered it referring to his previous answers. The same old questions - 1) What is his favorite song from all of his films? 2) Why is he repetitive? 3) Relationship with Maniratnam. 4) how does he approach to do a song? 5) why does he take long to do a song? 6) How did Roja happen? 7) Working with Illayaraja, MD's consuming Alcohol and drugs to compose music. 8) Why did he come out of Illayaraja's troupe? Next time I would expect ARR to provide interactive interviews (like 1995 Pongal Sun TV interview where ARR played the Pongal song with keyboard, Nadaswaram, thavil in Dharmavathi ragam, 2004 Sun TV interview where he sang Jana Gana Mana from Aayutha Ezhuthu at the end, ARR interview with Simi Garewal etc..) rather than purely verbal stuff.
