Hi Aneesh, I understand your frsutration. But Rahman is not a machine to deliver music whenever we want. To compose a music it take much time and effort. Also whenever A R Rahman does the music people expect a lot too. Have a think of famous Band Backstreet Boys, Mettalica, POP Single artiste Madonna, Britney, Celine Dion. Their albums in total will not be more than 20. And can you find Backstreet Biys, same quality album these days.
But when it comes to Rahman, it is more than 10 years and the hits are still to be continuing. and we are nearing the 100 th Album too. So we must be much content with what we get. When it comes to Sachin Tendulkars innings, people always expect a century, when an Amir Khan movie relases they expect it to be a hit, when Steven Spielberg directs a movie the people want it to be a magnum opus, and When the music of Rahman arrives, people want 10 hit songs. Sachin tendulkar goes for a Duck, Amir Khans movie Flops, Steven Spielberg cant maintain the quality of his early works.... But Still Rahman is composing and delivering hits.
