Hi sajin,
As u know that all the compositions are based on some raagas or folk
notes, the magic of MDs depends upon how well they play wid raagas, to develop
a new gem.
About May Maatham song, i havent seen the picturization and also i dnt
understand the lyrics..but i have a feeling that its a morning song..
To give the feel of Fresh,Divine morning, arr used the notes on suprabhatam in
flute.
The main composition of the song, ie Marghazhi poove..its entirely different
from the suprabhatam..but just to give the feel of divine, fresh, happy
morning, the flute piece is based on Suprabhatam notes...
AND the best part is dat, the magic has worked..awesome thinking, superb output
and a divine song...
About theekuruvi, its again one of my evergreen favourites..i wont b able to
give explaination now as am not aware of thiruvathira theme...
but am sure that someone can sure clarify ur doubt..
i hope this mail helped..
~love music love life

Subject: [arr] I HOPE U PEOPLE CAN CLARIFY THIS!!!
Hi friends ,
My friends
tease me that............... our boss copied from even suprabhatham for
the film MAY MADHAM song:"Maargazhi poove" and thiruvathira theme(kerala
dance form) for the film kangalal kaithu sei (song: theekkuruvi)
................... I cant accept those arguements ......because I know
our boss never do such things.......i think that is some demand from Director
of the film to add such things...is it???........ or any other
reason.................
can u help me to clarify them .......... or convince them.
Actually im not interested to open such topics..............
but I want to clarify this
I hope that u people can clarify this
