Ash gets the highest ever salary!

Aishwarya Rai is very much a part of Shankar’s Rajinikanth dream project
Robot, being produced by Ayngaran International.
Sources close to the deal said that last week the actress finally signed on the
dotted line.
She was reportedly paid a whopping advance amount for the film.
Aishwarya is rumoured to be getting Rs 6 Crore to be the heroine of Robot. This
is said to be the highest ever salary paid to an actress for an Indian film.
She has agreed to give bulk dates for the film as and when required.
As per original plans, Shankar was supposed to start the film in the first week
of June. Due to various hitches, the shooting of the film will start now only
in the last week of August after a low key ‘pooja’ in Chennai.
The dates have now become very convenient for Ash. She had kept the entire
month of July and August for the Bachchan’s “Unforgettable World Tour”, a
series of shows across continents organised by Wizcraft and starring the
Bachchans (Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya) along with a host of stars.
After Aishwarya finishes her world tour, it will be time to start Robot. As of
now Shankar is said to be planning to start the shoot with a song to be
picturised across the world. So Ash once again goes around the world with the
one and only superstar!
