blog's content kinda mockery but it wud b great if the director analyzes the need for the song before asking it to a music director. this clearly implies that abbas was not sure about his script, atleast for song placement.. if he was 100% confident about the script, then he shouldn't have asked for a song from ARR for that plot.. these directors never understand this concern.
though ARR is involved in the movie, i cant restrict to get surprised about the movie's box-office success. there were definitely movies that were dozen times better than jaane tu but still had an average grosser in the BO. jaane tu is a best example for a movie where hype and hoopla along with ARRs outstanding soundtrack (as Rajeev masand says), aamir's name and love story 2050 failure has paved way for the movie's success.. script wise the movie is just ok. i dont even have the intention to watch the movie for the second time, even when there are pre-dvvd's floating out in the web! > > > > > --- On *Sun, 7/13/08, Vithur <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>* wrote: > > From: Vithur <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: [arr] question of a song - from aamir khan blog > To: [email protected] > Date: Sunday, July 13, 2008, 10:11 PM > > question of a song - from aamir khan blog Thank you folks for the > response to Imran and Genelia.
