Sorry to break the Sakkarakatti mood but I went back to Kadhal Desam as I wanted to listen to the Taxi Taxi of the 90s but got blown over by Oh Vennila (again). This is such a beautiful melody:Rahman's music and Unni Krishnan's vocals are purely mesmerizing and the emotion provoked by the song is beyond words. I am not one for all the lovey dovey stuff but after listening to this one I want to fall in love and be heart broken, just so that i can listen to this one in a frame of mind the lyrics relates to. Irukindra ithayam odrallava Enathalla athuvum unathallava Ethai ketta pothum tharakkudume Uyir kooda unnakkai vida koodume Tharukindra porulai khadhal illai Thanthale kadal kadal illai Simple orchsestration but it only needed a killer of a melody and perhaps some beautiful lyrics.
