And Vijay ....great to hear it as it happened. Am sure so many of us in this
group would have a similar if not exactly the same story.
Quite similar in my case at least - just that instead of shop in Mumbai
...it was a shop in Delhi back in 1993....and the first cassette I
bought/noticed as being ARR was Pudhiya Mugham as well (had heard Roja but
didnt know who it was ..assumed to be Illayaraja :-)) and then
visiting/calling that shop every month (for years to come) to find out if
any new ARR album was out. All this without even understanding a word of
Tamil .... :-)

A nostalgic feeling - thats what this interview was...

I definitely would love to have Gopal go on the show once and walk us
through his journey. Thats a nice one as well (I heard part of it when he
was here at SF)
