Thanks a bunch Arvind for uploading this. And Vijay ....great to hear it as it happened. Am sure so many of us in this group would have a similar if not exactly the same story. Quite similar in my case at least - just that instead of shop in Mumbai ...it was a shop in Delhi back in 1993....and the first cassette I bought/noticed as being ARR was Pudhiya Mugham as well (had heard Roja but didnt know who it was ..assumed to be Illayaraja :-)) and then visiting/calling that shop every month (for years to come) to find out if any new ARR album was out. All this without even understanding a word of Tamil .... :-)
A nostalgic feeling - thats what this interview was... I definitely would love to have Gopal go on the show once and walk us through his journey. Thats a nice one as well (I heard part of it when he was here at SF) On Wed, Jul 23, 2008 at 7:23 PM, Aravind AM <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi all, > > I've uploaded Vijay Iyer's interview on yesterday's Rahmania show, at the > usual location: > http://rahmania.4shared.com > > (I've also uploaded Interview of Director Kalaprabhu (of Sakkarakatti fame) > in the same location) > > > @ Vijay: It was a superb interview dude....
