We had come across a news item (from 2006) which had mentioned that Mr. AR Rahman had withdrawn from the feature film Om Shanti Om since T-series the music company was not inclined to share a few rights with Mr. AR Rahman. We were particularly struck by a statement of Mr. AR Rahman, reproduced below... Music companies must recognise the changing ground reality. Today the conventional outlets for music sales are drying up. Soon all music will be free while the performers and performances will be paid for." We feel that a meeting with Mr. AR Rahman would be very very useful for our research. Further internet search revealed your blog and that is the reason i had called you.
