New Delhi, Aug 15 (IANS) All singers have their favourite genres and for
Roop Kumar Rathod, Sufi songs are his first love. After a soulful rendition
of "Maula mere maula" for the movie "Anwar", Rathod has sung another Sufi
song titled "Teri justajoo" that he says is an extension of the previous
one.

"'Teri Justajoo' is a Sufi song and has been compiled by music director
Kuldip Singh's son Harpreet. This song is actually an extension of my song
'Maula mere maula'," Rathod told IANS.

"Teri Justajoo" is the only fresh song in an album of the same name, which
is a compilation of popular songs by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Nusrat Fateh Ali
Khan, *A.R. Rahman* and Kailash Kher among others.

Rathod, known for his popular numbers like "Tere liye" in "Veer-Zaara"and
"Zindagi maut na ban jaye" in Aamir Khan starrer "Sarfarosh", says he has a
soft corner for Sufi songs.

"I have always had an inclination towards Sufi songs and it is my first
love. Even this new album is a Sufiana one," Rathod said.

The Sufi flavour is dominating
Bollywood<http://www.thaindian.com/bollywood/>music now, says the
singer.
