Hi Guys I am a new member of this group and many thanks to each one of you for sharing interesting info on AR - Rahman, the musical genuis and certainly India's pride. One of my close friend is currently part of AR - Rahman's string orchestra and he plays mridangam..( I am a mridangam player too).. I will share his recording experiences soon. The best thing i liked about him - is his modesty and humility. He knows how to handle Success and i guess thats one of the important reason, that he has become a international icon. Inspired by his music - i recently bought a Keyboard to start practising his songs. 1. I am keen to know the type of instruments used in his songs 2. I am looking for both carnatic/western notes for all his compositions.. Can someone help share web links with me please. Long live music and long live ARR - the giant carrier. Rgds..Nagi
