Abhimaan was the best classic with magnificent music. I wish if Rajeev Menon does its remake he considers music as the prime mover. I was a bit disappointed with his handling in the characters which had musical importance in KKKK. esp the song Nilaavandu and Suttum vizhi, AR's music in nilavandu was expressing all the emotions of a girl for that particular instance whereas Aishwarya Rai was seen walking pale on a rainy day in the song. Also in the Suttum vizhi song. Rajeev menon was more concentrating in showing Ms Rai more beautiful every scene but he was not able to give the visual impact of a girl who had musical interest and those were the places AR's music came as expressions. Also in Sapnay the church scenes where AR was adding music that expressed divine, care and sorrow the director seemed to be dull. I agree that Rajeev Menon is a good director and can do the best but I feel at times he has to come out of the Ad Scene world where importance of beauty has to overcome the expressions esp when its musicall inclined. Rest the visuals are amazing and perfect. For me his best songs ever shot were Konjum Mainakkale, Awara Bhawre, Kannamucchi (the best song ever shot in an artistic studio)
