This one would go into the 'Believe It Or Not' series. The name Shona Urvashi may not ring a bell. One film old Shona had directed CHUPKE SE five years back. The film didn't click at the box office though it did fetch good reviews in some quarters. Shona went back to the drawing board and started working on other projects. However, the buzz is that before she started working on next film SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX, she was offered to direct JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA which was eventually taken over by Abbas Tyrewala. Confirms a source close to Shona, ''Yes, this is indeed true though Shona hasn't spoken about it extensively. Past is past and at the moment she is mighty excited about SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX which has been loved by everyone who has seen it so far.'' But why didn't she get behind the camera for JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA? Reveals the source, ''When JAANE TU YA JAANE NAA was with TIPS, Shona Urvashi was supposed to direct it. Later, this couldn't materialize since she was having her daughter. This is when Abbas Tyrewala, who is actually quiet a dear friend of hers, took the film back from her and ended up directing it.'' Well, in a small world of Bollywood, this one indeed comes as a pleasant surprise. Pleasant, since it says a lot about the sensibilities of this young film maker who would now be coming up with an urban light hearted entertainer in the form of SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX which stars Tanushree Dutta, Kirron Kher, Farooq Sheikh, Ankur Khanna and Masumuh in principal roles.
