New Delhi, Sep 18 (IANS) A host of Bollywood celebrities will take
part in a United Nations Millennium Campaign (UNMC) video to mobilise masses to
fight against poverty.
A.R. Rahman, Gulzar, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Jaideep Sahni, Kailash Kher
and Ranbir Kapoor will come together for the special video which will also
feature Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and Pakistani model-turned- actress Imaan
Ali of 'Khuda Kay Liye' fame.

Produced by Tandav Films of 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' fame and directed by Meghna
Gulzar, the video is a Public Social Advertising (PSA) and is in production
stage.
The video will essentially focus on the global advocacy campaign called 'Stand
Up And Take Action' alongside concentrating on popularising Millennium
Development Goals (MDGs).
'The objective of this video is to make people aware and to make the government
wake up and take action to achieve the 8 MDGs. Celebrities from all walks of
life talk hard core facts in a communicative manner in the video to reach
people. This video will also be aired free of cost on major Television
channels,' Raaj Hiremath, Managing Director, Tandav Films told IANS.

43 million people across the globe set up a world record October last year by
taking part in the campaign that was earlier called 'Stand Up and Speak Out'.
Celebrities and sportsmen like Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid
have also been associated with the campaign.http://www.sindhtod ay.net/sports/
