I found this accidentally in
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuvan_Shankar_Raja , here it is mentioned
rahman copies from Yuvan which is so funnny but irritating.

Yuvan Shankar Raja's collaborations with the directors Selvaraghavan,
Ameer, Simbu, Venkat Prabhu and Vishnuvardhan have resulted in very
successful albums. Many of his soundtracks feature a variety of songs
drawing influence from different traditions. Upcoming features include
Silambattam,Kettavan,Yogi (tamil film), Sarvam. He is the only south
Indian composer, who never worked for Hindi movies to be recognised by
Sony BMG to produce an Hindi/English album.some of the fools who just
listen to music find faults with some people who makes lots of efforts
for a film's music and BGM like yuvan. He's highly respected by film
media and music maestro A.R.Rahman. Many music directors copy beats
including rahman as they admire those bgms and some are coincidental
