movie<http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/India_Buzz/The_new_sensation/articleshow/3513522.cms#>Kathalil
Vizhunthaen. Aiming for six packs? "Not exactly, I am just working
out. I had only a month's time before the shooting of Kaathalil Vizhunthaen.

How did films happen to this young actor? "Shankar sir was looking for five
young guys for his film Boys. His manager had come home and my mom gave him
our family photograph. She was actually planning to launch my brother Mayoor
but the director noticed the chubby boy standing behind him and said that I
would fit the role of Juju."

So, how was it working with Shankar, one of the best directors in the
industry? "I was happy but nervous as I had to live up to his expectations.
He is a perfectionist and you can learn a lot from him. He knows how to
extract the best from a person,"he says.

Those who debuted with Nakul— Siddharth, Genelia and Bharath have gone ahead
to become successful actors. Why was Nakul holding back? "After Boys, I got
similar offers where I was one among the gang. But I was determined that If
I did a movie again, I would be the hero. Moreover, I was doubtful whether
anyone would invest crores of money on a chunky boy with spikes."

Nakul has sung chorus for Boys, Anniyan, Vallavan, Vettaiyadu Vilayadau to
name a few. "My first sound test happened at A R Rahman's Panchathantiram
Studio," he beams.
The actor has three movies in his kitty, one with Sun Pictures and the other
under the Reliance banner. "I am also doing a film with Goutham Menon."
