hi bro sashi

i dont wont to make this topic as un unwanted one but my reply to ur mail is
that those two reused song is by directors demand if u wolud have seen
arr speach during music launch where he qouted that director wanted all 5 songs
to be from his previous hindi tracks. speaking of varanam ayiram sakkarakatti
is no way lesser to varanam ayiram in where 4 to five songs have heavy heavy
influence of arr's music and heavily inspired from western songs..

sorry bros and sis if i had replied in a wrong direction..

cheers

Guys,

Sakarakatti or the previous songs of arr were not of his standard. My
observation is that he is not accepting talented directors of the south
like ameer and many others where there are scope to experiment. He is
not accessible to these people. Even ameer ( director of paruthiveeran)
quoted maybe boss thinks they are not directors?

Harris has been getting youthful flims and striking gold. Our boss
instead is concentrating more on Hindi flims. I guess he needs to sit
back and understand that there are others besides Maniratnam and
Shankar.Tamil flims brought him the spotlight. I am sure if he gives
more concentration and focus to tamil flims..he wil right be on track.

Harris is definitely expermenting and kudos to his Varanam Ayiram
soundtrack. Its definitely a beter album compared to Sakarakati. Why use
re use songs ( sakarakatti ) from his previous compositions. .does not
sell anymore.Boss should pick resonable directors with good screenplay
and scope for music and must must deliver songs faster.

Just imagine if he had done the music for Paruthiveeran or Saroja. It
would have been great. Cheers

Sashi

We need boss to come back and focus. We need simple music like duet and
roja and gentleman. Com
