Certain movies of Salman Khan have special soundtracks like Maine Pyar
Kiya, Baaghi, Ek Ladka Ek Ladki, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, etc. that
feature simple and soothing melodies - they only suit Salman and
nobody else...but then, his other movies have fun-filled upbeat songs
that often sound pedestrian to music lovers of high tastes...

I always wondered what kind of music ARR would give for a Salman Khan
film...my question was answered in the 2 absolutely romantic tracks
from Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa - the title song and my top fav. Jane
Bahara -- what a beautiful melody, pure and simple, took me back to
those magical Salman Khan songs of the 90s...Jane Bahara is still a
one-of-a-kind song from ARR, a shining gem!...

And now, after listening to the Tu Hi To Meri Dost Hai song from
Yuvvraaj, ARR has repeated the same Jane Bahara magic (well, in my
opinion)...wonderful song...I can't quite describe it...I'm not
talking about the 'instrumental creativity' or the 'tune variations'
or any other technical stuff which some fans seem to go too far
into...its the inner soul that a song has, the feelings that this song
unleashes...there's more sides to ARR than just instrumentally
creative albums like the recent smash hit Sakkarakatti...

Coming to the hasty responses to Yuvvraaj's trailers...the times are
changing, nowadays some soundtracks are composed keeping the movie's
theme in mind, composers ensure that their songs gel well with the
movie and not stick out like sore thumbs...gone are the days when
almost all soundtracks were purposely composed to stand out on their
own...take the case of Rock On, where its music didn't catch on
initially, but when the audience saw how the songs were so nicely
incorporated within the movie, the soundtrack became a huge Top 10
hit...so I'd say ..wait for the movie, and then decide how the songs
are...

Anyhow, that was my lengthy 2 cents :)
