Seems like this was a rumor. I watched Aamir Khan's interview on
bollywood hungama, when asked question about Ghajini release, he said
it wont be delayed any further. Even if this was true, there should
have been news at other places as well. 

In addition, on the main page of bollywood hungama site today, there

A.R. Murugadoss's Ghajini, starring Aamir Khan, Asin and Jiah Khan, is
all set for release this Christmas on December 25.
